Operation Yellow Ribbon - Monterey Official Operation: Care and Comfort Partner since 2003 REMEMBER OUR TROOPS! Operation Yellow Ribbon (Monterey) will be sending at least 1,500 Care Packages to our Troops on Wednesday, The deadline to drop off donations for this shipment is Saturday, Operation Yellow Ribbon (Monterey) is a partner of Operation: Care and Comfort (OCC), and has worked with OCC since September 2003. Since that time, over 40,000 individual care packages have been assembled by the volunteers at OYR Monterey, and were shipped to the troops by our partner, ARC Operation: Care and Comfort. Operation Yellow Ribbon Monterey meets one Wednesday every three months, to meet and assemble 1,500 (or more) care packages for our Troops. Personal Hygiene and Toiletries: Hotel/travel sized deodorant, shampoo, lotion, toothpaste and mouthwash; toothbrushes, dental floss and brush ups; disposable razors, eye drops, saline nose drops, unscented baby wipes, wet wipes, small hand sanitizer; small Kleenex packets, Q-Tips (Large packages okay), anti-fungal creams, Gold Bond Medicated Foot Powder, Moleskin cushions for shoes, band aids, footpowder; non-aerosol air freshner, new or used DVDs, CD's, AAA & AA Batteries, disposable cameras, current pocket books and magazines, pens, pencils, blank greeting cards & stationary, AT&T WORLDWIDE/GLOBAL PHONE CARDS (ONLY).
